How is IntentX different from Chrome?

Chrome includes Gemini features for questions and tasks. IntentX is built as an AI-native browser where you and AI agents work side by side: Ask can use the page you’re viewing, and Agents can help carry supported work across tabs and connected tools. AutoConnect can automatically discover compatible MCP servers as services make them available, then connect their tools with your permission. You approve external changes.

How is IntentX different from using ChatGPT or Claude in another tab?

ChatGPT and Claude can work with conversations and uploaded files. When you use them in a separate tab, you often have to bring the context over yourself. In IntentX, Ask sits beside the page you’re viewing, and supported Agents can use signed-in websites or connected apps for the next step.

Can it use websites where I am already signed in?

Sign in to a website inside IntentX to use it there; a Chrome sign-in does not automatically carry over. For supported tasks, IntentX can use the site you have open or an authorized app connection. Some Agents require a connection before continuing.

Will it change things without asking?

Supported external changes require your approval. You can review the proposed change before IntentX makes it, and edit drafts before using them.

Can IntentX do more than answer questions?

Yes. Ask helps with the page you have open. Agents guide focused tasks such as research, job search, and drafting. You can save supported repeatable work as an Automation. What a task can do depends on the page and connections available.

Which apps can I connect?

You can browse the websites you already use. For tasks that need more access, IntentX can help you find available app connections. You choose which ones to connect and review any sign-in permissions. What IntentX can do varies by service.

What information leaves my computer when I use AI?

Browser sessions and credentials are managed on your device. AI-backed tasks send relevant context, which can include page text, URLs, screenshots, or audio, to services that process the request. Connected apps process information you authorize. Read our security overview and privacy notice for details.

Which computers are supported?

IntentX supports Apple silicon, including M-series and A18 Pro Macs, and modern 64-bit Intel Macs running macOS 12 or newer, including Tahoe. A Windows 64-bit preview is also available.
