How is IntentX different from a separate AI tool?

IntentX brings browsing, AI conversations, and supported actions into one place. It can use the page you’re viewing or a connected app, so you can ask a question, review the answer, and take the next step without copying everything between tools.

Can it use websites where I am already signed in?

For supported tasks, IntentX can use an app connection or a website you have signed into inside its browser. Some Agents require a connection and explain what to connect before continuing.

Can I use IntentX from an open website tab?

Yes. Ask a question about the page or tell IntentX what to do there. The tab stays available beside the result, so you can inspect it or keep browsing.

Will it change things without asking?

Not for supported external changes. You see the exact change and approve it first.

Can I use IntentX by voice?

Yes. Press Option + Space to ask IntentX. You can also turn on Fn + Space dictation and the local “Hey Intent” or “Hey IntentX” wake phrase in Voice Settings.

What can IntentX do?

You can ask about pages, research the web, turn a page into social-post drafts, and rerun Automations. Spaces keep apps and tabs organized. Some tasks require an app connection.

How do Agents and Automations differ?

An Agent guides a focused kind of work, such as finding jobs or preparing social content. An Automation is a repeatable task you can run with new inputs. Agents can use Automations as part of their work.

How does integration discovery work?

IntentX can discover available integrations for supported websites using MCP (Model Context Protocol), a standard for connecting AI tools to services. Finding an integration does not authorize access to your account. Choose Connect and complete any required sign-in before using its tools. Not every website offers a discoverable integration.

Do I need to connect all my apps first?

No. Start by browsing, asking about a page, or researching the web. Connect an app when a task requires it, and review the requested permissions before continuing.

Does everything stay on my computer?

No. Browser sessions and credentials are managed on your device, but AI features send the relevant task and page context to services that process the request. Connected apps process requests too. Read our security overview and privacy notice for the details.

Which computers are supported?

IntentX supports Apple silicon, including M-series and A18 Pro Macs, and modern 64-bit Intel Macs running macOS 14 or newer, including Tahoe. A Windows 64-bit test build is also available; Linux is not supported yet.
